PlayStation 3 Connectivity

PlayStation 3 Console set up:-
I am now going to show the steps to setup a PlayStation 3 with the cables for the PlayStation 3. I am going to also show hot to install a PS3 game on the console, the game I am going to install is Star Wars: Force Unleashed and I will show a quick gameplay of the game.

I am going to show how to connect the PlayStation 3 console, the image above shows the connections I will be using to connect the console and the game I am going to install on the console.

clip_image002[4]

Now I am going to connect the cable to the PlayStation 3, the cable that has to connect to the PS3 is the three coloured cable and the other end is the scart.

The three colour wire is going to connecting to the computer and the scart is going to be connected to the PS3.

clip_image002[8]

The image above show one end of the cable that is going into the PlayStation 3, the port for the cable to go in is located at the back of the PlayStation 3.

The image shows me about to plug in the connector.

clip_image002[10]

The above image show me connecting one end of the cable to the PlayStation, to connect the cable I have to align the cable with the port and then push in the connector.

Connecting the connector to the PlayStation will let the user who is play see the visual image of the game, the bottom image shows an enlarge picture

clip_image003[4]clip_image002[14]

The image above show an enlarge image of the AC power cable.

The image on the top left shows the plug, this is where I am going to plug into the plug switch and the other end of the cable which shows on the top right side is where I am going to plug into the consoles port hole.

clip_image002[16]

The image above shows me going to connect the AC cable into the console, as you can see next to the port for the AC cable is the on/off switch to turn the console on and/or off. Without have the AC cable is that the console won’t be able to turn on and then I won’t be able to play the games on the console.

clip_image002[20]

After aligning the AC cable with the port then I am going to push the AC cable into the port and firmly check it is in place. Once in place I am then going to plug in the Plug on the other end of the AC cable.

clip_image003[8]clip_image002[24]

The image above shows the ends of the Ethernet cable, one end is going to be connected to the PlayStation 3 console and the other end is going to be connected to the Ethernet port.

This cable will allow me to connect to the internet and download PlayStation game demos, wallpapers, music and videos by using the PlayStation Network- also known as PSN.

clip_image002[26]

The image above shows me about to plug in the Ethernet cable into the Ethernet port, to plug in the Ethernet cable I have to align it to the port and then push into the port for the internet to work. But once I connect this Ethernet cable into the port, I will not have internet access because I didn’t plug in the other end of the cable.

clip_image002[28]

The image above shows me connecting the Ethernet cable in the Ethernet port, to connect it- I had to make sure that the Ethernet was aligned with the Ethernet port and then I pushed it through the Ethernet port. I firmly made sure that it was connected, while I was connecting the Ethernet to the port I had to hear a click type of sound, so I know that the Ethernet is connected probably.

clip_image002[32]

The image above shows me aligning the other end of the Ethernet cable with the Ethernet port on the wall.

Once I connect this side of the Ethernet cable then I would have an internet connection for the console and I can then download game demos on the PSN (PlayStation Network).

clip_image002[34]

After aligning the Ethernet cable with the Ethernet port on the wall, then I would be able to have internet on the console, the image above shows me connecting the Ethernet to the Ethernet port on the wall. When I was pushing the Ethernet cable into the port on the wall, I was listening to the click sound so that I know that it is firmly in place.

clip_image002[38]

After connecting the Ethernet cable, I then get the other end of the AC cable, which is the plug of the AC cable and I align it with the switch plug, for me to plug in the AC cable I have to push the plug into the plug switch and then turn on the switch so that electricity can go into the console so it can power the console and I then you are able to play it.

clip_image002[42]

The image above shows that I have plugged in the AC cable into the plug switch and I have turned the power so that electricity can flow into the AC cable to the console so that it can have power to play.

clip_image002[44]

The image above shows that I am holding the three coloured cable, I have already connected the other end of the scart to the PlayStation 3.

Now I am going to connect the colour cable to the computer, I am connected it to the computer because it has a TV card and the three coloured pins.

I will have to connect the coloured wire to the desired coloured i.e. the red colour wire is going to go to the red pin in the computer.

To connect the three coloured wire, I will have to align each coloured wire in front of the correct colour pin.

clip_image002[46]

The image above shows that I have connected the three coloured wires in the rightful colour pin.

To connect the three coloured pins, you have to align each of the coloured wires and then push into the coloured pin.

Then make sure that it is connected probably and it’s not lose, if it is lose then firmly push into the coloured pin.

clip_image002[50]

Now I have connected all the main components for the PlayStation 3 to work, as I have connected the AC cable to the switch and turned the switch on. Next to the on/off switch on the PS3 there is a red light which means that the console is on standby mode.

clip_image002[52]

The image above shows that I have pressed the on/off button on the console to turn the console on.

Once I have pressed the button, then a green light appears meaning that the console is on.
