Xbox 360 Connectivity

Xbox 360 Connection Setup:-

I am going to show how to connect the Xbox 360 console.clip_image002

The image on the right shows all the components to connect the Xbox 360. It shows the console itself, the AC cable, controllers, VGA cable, Ethernet cable, monitor and game.

The first component I am going to connect is the AC cable for the console.

The image below shows me holding the AC cable battery.clip_image002[5]

clip_image002[7]

The picture above shows an image of me holding the other end of the AC cable for the console. I am going to connect the plug in the plug switch and plug in the other end into the AC cable.

clip_image002[9]

The picture above shows an image of me connecting the first part of the AC cable into the port of the AC cable.

Before I plug it into the port of the AC cable, I need to align it, as it shows on the picture on the right. Then I need to push it in firmly.

clip_image002[11]

The picture above shows me firmly connecting the first part of the AC cable into the AC cable battery. To connect it, I had to align the AC cable with the AC cable battery port, and then I had to push it through the port and make sure that it is firmly in place.

clip_image002[15]

After connecting the AC cable scart to the port of the AC cable battery, I then get the other end of the AC cable and I am going to plug it at the back of the Xbox 360.

The picture above shows where I need to plug the AC cable, I have to align the AC cable with the port in the console.

clip_image002[17]

The picture above shows me plugging the AC end cable to the port of the console.

I had to make sure that the AC cable is lined up with the AC port on the console and then I push in the cable into the port.

clip_image002[19]

Now I am going to connect the hard drive to the console, once I have the hard drive connected to the console and I have power running through the console then I can have saved game data’s and movies on the hard drive.

clip_image002[21]

The image above shows where the Xbox 360 hard drive needs to go; the size of the hard drive is 20GB. I am going to place the hard drive into the console by aligning the hard drive with the top of the console and I then have to push down, while I am pushing the hard drive in to the Xbox 360 I have to make sure that the port of the hard drive goes into the port hold on the console.

clip_image002[23]

The picture on the right shows me placing the hard drive on the top of the Xbox 360.

I had to place it over the top of the console and as I was pushing down I had to make sure that hard drive port goes into the consoles port.

clip_image002[25]

The picture above shows an image of me holding the VGA cable; I am going to connect the VGA cable into the monitor and on the other side of the cable is going to be connected to the console.

clip_image002[27]

The image above shows me holding the scart of the VGA cable and I am pointing at where it needs to go.

For it to be connected, I have to align the scart with the scart port and then push down.

clip_image002[29]

The image above shows that I have connected the scart of the VGA cable into the scart port, for the scart to be connected to the scart port. I had to align the scart with the scart port and then push down; making sure that the scart is connected probably into the scart port I check that it’s firmly in place so that it doesn’t disconnect.

clip_image002[33]

The picture above shows an image of me holding the Ethernet cables; I am going to connect this to the console and into the Ethernet port.

clip_image002[35]The image above shows me connecting the Ethernet cable into the back of the Ethernet port of the console.

For the Ethernet cable to be connected, I had to align the Ethernet cable over the Ethernet port and then push down. As I was pushing down, I had to hear this type of clicking type of sound so I know that the Ethernet cable is connected

clip_image002[39]

The image above shows me plugging the Ethernet into the Ethernet port on the wall.

For it to be connected, I had to push the Ethernet cable into the port while doing so I had to hear a clicking type of noise, so I know that it is firmly in place.

clip_image002[41]The picture above shows an image of me holding the AC cable for the monitor, I am going to connect the plug into a socket and the other end of the AC cable is going to go into the port of the monitor.

clip_image002[43]

The picture above shows an image of me pointing to where the AC cable for the monitor needs to go.

For e to connect this, I have to align the AC cable with the port of the AC on the monitor.

clip_image002[45]

After aligning the AC cable with the port for the monitor, I then push up and firmly make sure that it is in place. Once this is connect, I then have to connect the plug in the socket, which means I am able to turn the monitor on and see what I am doing in the game and/or in the console.

clip_image002[47]

The picture above shows an image of me connecting the other end of the VGA cable.

It shows where I have to connect it and when it is connected, I then have to screw the pins to make sure that it’s firmly in place.

clip_image002[49]After connecting the VGA cable to the monitor, I then had to screw the pins into the monitor so that it doesn’t come off when I am playing the console.

clip_image002[51]

The picture above shows where the AC cable for the monitor needs to go, I will need to plug that in and then turn the switch on. Once that is connected and I turn it on then the monitor can be turned on.

clip_image002[53]

The picture above shows an image of me plugging in the plug into the socket for the monitor to be turned on.

For me to connect the plug, I had to align the plug with the socket and once it was aligned I then pushed the plug into the socket. Once the plug is in the socket, I then turned the switch so that the monitor can be turned on

clip_image002[55]The picture above shows an image of the AC cable for the console to where it needs to go, I will have to connect the plug into the socket wall and turn the switch on. Once this is connected the Xbox 360 is able to be turned on and then I can play the console.

clip_image002[57]

The image above shows me plugging in the AC cable for the console.

I have connected the plug and now I am going to turn the switch on so that the console is able to be turned on.

clip_image002[59]

The picture above shows and image of me holding the Xbox 360 controller, this is going to be connected by via USB into the front of the console. Without having the controller, I will not be able to play the games or use the console.

clip_image002[65]

The picture above shows where the controller needs to go, the USB will need to be plugged into the USB port.

On the console, it shows 2 USB ports, I can connect another controller to the console

clip_image002[67]

The picture above shows an image of the controller connected to the console, to connect it I had to push the USB through the flap to get to the USB port and then just push the controller USB into the USB port.

clip_image002[69]

After connecting the first controller, I had connected another controller to the USB port.

The picture on the left shows that the console is turned off and I am going to press the button for the Xbox 360 to be turned on.

clip_image002[71]

After pressing the button on the console, then the console turns on. Once I pressed the button, and then button then turns green to notify the user that the Xbox 360 is turned on.

clip_image002[75]clip_image002[77]

The two (2) images above shows the button on the console. The picture on the top left shows that button of the console is off which means that the console isn’t turned on.

The image on the top right shows the button of the console when it is turned on, you can tell when it is on as it has a green ring around the button.
